Discovery Education’s Social Impact/Corporate Partnerships team provides collaborative and customized solutions that align with external partners (business) goals while simultaneously providing value for students and teachers in critical issue and topic areas (STEM, literacy, human rights, etc.).
As a member of the net new corporate partnerships (sales) team, you’ll be a pivotal revenue-focused leader fostering new partnerships designed to deepen and scale teacher capacity and student impact. In this role, initially, you will facilitate the voice of the beneficiary (students, teachers, employees) and the client (employers) to build successful partnership product sales.
This is a remote role and candidate must be willing to work east coast hours on select days.
About the Role
Your work will live at the intersection of business, nonprofits and K-12 public schools nationwide, connecting communities to mission-aligned partnerships and programs that address critical needs in education. You will work alongside CEP’s business development and partner impact (success) teams to ensure a best-in-class partnerships business. Further, you will liaise cross-functionally with marketing, product and design, content/curriculum, research, and other related internal hubs to maximize the opportunity to grow Discovery Education’s portfolio of partnerships.
For clarity, you will be an autonomous leader building winning partnerships while managing prospects in a client journey centered on a sound selling proposition and implementation model that yields recurring business. This primarily consists of direct client facing sales across all Social Impact partnership pathways. Success is determined by the quality (size of partnership, renewability, mission-alignment) and volume of new corporate partners secured annually.
