Role Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of credentialing and recredentialing for the Cigna enterprise credentialing organization, records management in accordance to state and federal regulations as well as supervision of credentialing team members. The candidate will also ensure compliance within job aids to Cigna's policies, as well as NCQA and CMS Standards.
Responsibilities:
Leads Provider Credentialing team with full technical responsibility for team output.
Oversees and monitors the procedures for the credentialing or re-credentialing of physicians and/or providers.
Oversees the processing of provider applications and re-applications including the initial mailing, review, and loading.
Manages data preparation and assists with development of recommendations for credentialing committee review and approval.
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Focuses on ensuring short-term outputs and the effectiveness of team integration with other work areas.
Provides input into workforce planning and recruitment activities.
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required.
2+ years of management experience preferred.
2+ years of credentialing experience highly preferred.
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe knowledge preferred.
Deadline oriented and accountable for production.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality results.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 58,000 - 96,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
