Position: Senior Inventory Planner
Location: Belgrade, Serbia (hybrid)
Grade: 10
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for parts planning across regions and/or accounts, including channel sales and consigned parts.
Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet service requirements, including analytics and process improvements.
Maintains strong and collaborative relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirements.
Takes responsibility for end to end supply chain execution of assigned population of parts/accounts.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Schedule and manage the supply of materials/components to optimize service level and inventory
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of use
Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions
Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on availability and inventory.
Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
Actively contribute to the development and support of material planning processes and benchmark against best practice and review ways to make continuous improvements
Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas of improvement
Ensure any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system that is in place is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required
Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy
Understand and define planning parameters for all responsible parts
Monitor and control inventory levels against agreed target levels
Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability
Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy
Create regular statistical reports and analytics and update others in the organization
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the customer/field as and when required, avoiding disruption to service.
Create and issue forecasts to suppliers
Generate and communicate supplier material delivery schedules to ensure they reflect requirements and meet demands
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus
Experience in production/material planning, forecasting, inventory or related domain
Problem solving and analytical capabilities
Working expertise with MRP and ERP systems, most preferably with Oracle/Servigistics
Strong reporting and analytics capability, with expertise in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access), Tableau, PowerBI or similar business intelligence applications, etc
Understanding of best-in-class planning processes with the ability to interpret complex data, leverage information for business decision-making, and develop/implement cost beneficial solutions
Excellent communications skills
Fluent in English
