Description

　　A growing financial services firm based in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and determining the reliability of internal controls, supporting annual risk assessment and corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance,and preparing audit reports. In addition, the Senior Internal Auditor will conduct and document process walkthroughs and ensure audit working papers are appropriately documented. A demonstrated ability to interact with people of varying levels and functions across the company will be critical to success in this Senior Internal Auditor role. This Senior Internal Auditor is a contract role & Morristown, New Jersey.

　　Requirements - Risk assessment and risk-based auditing knowledge required

　　Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Foundational knowledge in Financial Audits

　　Experience with Balance Sheet Account

　　Solid understanding of internal audit

　　Knowledge of Audit Workpapers

　　Proficiency in Audit Prep

　　Knowledge and experience in financial concepts, budgeting, and forecasting with strong financial modeling skills

　　Big 4 accounting firm experience desired

　　Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

　　Relevant experience in auditing and/o radvisory

　　BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred

　　Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
