Description
Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join one of our clients on an interim basis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, extensive experience with NetSuite and Hyperion, and a keen ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial reports, conducting analyses, and supporting the financial planning and budgeting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports using NetSuite and Hyperion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and investment decisions.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management to support business decisions.
• Maintain and optimize the use of NetSuite and Hyperion for financial reporting and analysis, ensuring data integrity and system efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and sales, to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations related to financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Hyperion is required. Advanced Excel skills and experience with other financial software and ERP systems are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
