About the role:
The purpose of this position is to implement and lead HSE (Health, Environmental and Safety) programs relative to a large national/international corporate account, market area or geographical region. You will play a meaningful role in ensuring the organization's environmental compliance, sustainability, and dedication to responsible environmental practices.
What you'll do:
Developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic business/action plan
Through best-in-class technical capabilities and outstanding interpersonal relationship-building skills you will expand the client relationship becoming a trusted advisor.
Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new aspects of existing client accounts
Implement EHS consulting and compliance services
Serve as senior resource for Environmental, Health, and Safety program, project implementation, and related activities
Achieve client’s expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
Lead, mentor, and collaborate with client management and EHS personnel for overall success of the program
Conducting environmental audits and assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
Leading and coordinating environmental monitoring programs to track and report on key performance indicators.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
Providing mentorship and support to site managers and employees on environmental standard methodologies and regulatory requirements.
Leading the development and implementation of environmental training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
Leading all aspects of and evaluating emerging environmental regulations and trends to proactively address potential impacts on the organization.
Handling relationships with regulatory agencies and external partners to ensure effective communication and partnership.
Conducting investigations and responding to environmental incidents or complaints, including coordinating remediation efforts.
Developing and leading environmental budgets and prioritization to support environmental initiatives and compliance efforts.
Other duties may be assigned.
Desired areas of consulting experience include:
EHS conformance assessments and risk assessments
Environmental plans, permits, reporting, etc. (air, water, wastewater, hazardous waste, etc.)
EHS & ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits and program development

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
As required by local authority (if required). Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), CPE, CHMM and CPEA - Preferred
HAZWOPER 40-hour, trained and current 8-hour refresher preferred
Shown record to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, resulting in follow-up, repeat business and growing the existing account
Shown grasp of management issues, as well as a high degree of technical competence and broad knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety program standard methodologies

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. HSE Manager position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $160,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
