Information Security ArchitectHello,BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Information Security ArchitectJob Title : Information Security Architect(Saas Security)Duration:7 MonthsLocation: REMOTEJob Description:This candidate will be working with various product teams in parallel and will be charged with connecting the SaaS security scanning application to various SaaS applications. The candidate must be detail oriented and have experience with SaaS security and API's. The candidate will have experience in understanding, explaining and remediating security vulnerabilities.You will:* Oversee the proper implementation and integration of the SaaS scanning application with other Bank SaaS applications.* Work cross-functionally with our product teams, other engineering teams, and partner developers in the design and delivery of the SaaS security platform.* Translate business requirements into code and documentation while managing the life-cycle and communication for assigned projects.* Analyze and defines business requirement to determine specifications and standards.* Monitor system performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors.* Ensure quality of the solutions are robust, scalable and efficient to meet the needs of the business.* Develop professional quality documentation templates that enable automation and reuse.* Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by developers and initial API code authors.Qualifications* 2+ years experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger or a similar framework, code commenting tools, and/or source code repositories preferred.* Knowledge of SaaS security best practices (MIN. 6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE).* Understanding of cloud services and solutions in platforms such as Azure or AWS* Some exposure to coding practices in Java, PHP, Python, and Ruby* Experience working with large infrastructure hosting environments including knowledge ofo Application Hostingo distributed messaging architectureso network technologies (Ex: VPNs, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routing, etc.)o security technologies (Ex: public key cryptography and infrastructure, smart cards, authentication, authorization, etc.).* Agile/SCRUM Experience* Demonstration of thorough understanding of how discrete infrastructure components work together to provide reliable and secure hosting environment.* Requires experience with one or more cloud platforms.* Comprehensive understanding of IT security best practices and threat protection* Strong communication skills.* Comfortable working in a semi-structured environment with evolving processes and homegrown systems.* Comfortable handling multiple deadlines and self-prioritization of ad hoc requests.* Experience working directly with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders* Experience writing common forms of developer documentation (API reference, conceptual guides, and tutorials).* Ability to consult with internal and external resources to develop cloud solutions for a range of products.* Must have a good understanding of connected embedded systems tradeoffs, protocols, etc.* Training and knowledge transfer experienceAbout BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
