　　JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Supporting the engineering function in monitoring costs associated with new product developments by actively participating in meetings with function and product business partners. Coordination and tracking of cost containment projects with global view.

　　AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

　　• Implement the cost improvement program, embracing quality, service and cost requirements

　　• Product cost management: develop and monitor, tools, processes and methods to ensure that a product meets its cost target

　　• Develop, implement and control of cost improvement initiatives

　　• Conceptualize and implement a KPI system and standard operating procedures

　　• Support the business to evaluate financial impact of specific decisions and find opportunities to increase profitability reducing cost and finding synergies
