　　BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.

　　Main Tasks

　　Ensure a proper communication between the Site Commissioning and Startup organization, selected clusters and the IPMT concerning site commissioning / startup related topics for the assigned clusters.

　　Verify/ if technical interfaces between infra and the assigned clusters are meeting the requirements.

　　Keep an overview on all changes in the assigned clusters with special focus on interfaces. Analyze the effects of the changes on the other clusters. Communicate the effects to the relevant stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.

　　Elaborate mitigation measures together with the commissioning and startup coordination group if necessary.

　　Support the unit of Commissioning and Startup Coordination in translating the above-mentioned changes into the site commissioning and startup plan.

　　Elaborate and define a clear grid operations responsibility for each raw material and product together with the assigned clusters; elaborate a robust commissioning plan for each of those grids together with the clusters and coordinate/align with infra.

　　Perform a technical interface review (pipeline material, pressure, diameter and relevant operational design data) between the assigned process plants, utility generation, tank farm and infra including gap analysis and mitigation if necessary.

　　Establish work culture principals based on AM core values.

　　Take safety responsibilities with detailed information in Annex.

　　Requirements

　　Petrochemical or site logistics including tank farm/jetty experience will be preferred.

　　Practical experience in commissioning, turnaround management, construction management or similar fields.

　　Good analytical and communication skills.

　　Good English language skills preferred, but not mandatory.
