　　Role Summary

　　As a Sr. 3P Diagnostic Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting third-party (3P) service providers with diagnostic technical expertise, knowledge transfer, and assistance leading to case resolution by providing remote diagnostic and calibration support for in-field repairs.

　　The opening will be located remotely and reports directly to the Manager, 3P Diagnostic Support.

　　Responsibilities

　　Perform diagnostics using a combination of experience with integrated automotive systems and a technical understanding of Rivian products

　　Ensure an industry leading customer repair experience through skilled diagnostics and excellent communication

　　Evaluate and effectively perform remote repairs without local access to the vehicle

　　Interpret connected vehicle data collected through diagnostic information systems to produce test and repair plans

　　Support the development and use of the third-party Rivian Diagnostic Tool

　　Use Jira and other tools to track, measure, and report diagnostic inquiries

　　Provide feedback and insights to the 3P Diagnostic Support Manager to help improve processes and Rivian products

　　Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position

　　Qualifications

　　5+ years of experience in automotive repair with an emphasis on mechanical, electrical, and high-voltage systems

　　Extensive automotive diagnostic knowledge with automotive communication protocols such as DoIP, Ethernet, LIN, CAN, FlexRay, MOST, etc. is a plus

　　Familiarity with common workshop diagnostic tooling and equipment

　　Excellent problem solving capabilities

　　Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically

　　Ability to work and remain motivated in a fast-paced environment

　　Must be able to travel domestically (10%)

　　Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, mouse and keyboard for an extended period of time

　　Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work

　　Light to moderate lifting may be required

　　Located and living in EST timezone and commit to working at least from 8am to 5pm EST

　　Pay Disclosure

　　Salary Range for New York Based Applicants: $104,000 to $120,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
