Description

　　Robert Half is seeking a skilled Sr DevOps Engineer for our remote client. Join a dynamic team and contribute to a robust software development lifecycle as a Senior DevOps Engineer. You'll play a key role in automating AWS infrastructure with tools like SDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform, implementing a CI/CD pipeline, and ensuring seamless application deployments. This is a collaborative environment where you'll serve as a liaison between software development, QA, and operations, driving efficiency and high performance.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Design and implement automation for infrastructure on a major cloud platform using various tools.

　　Establish and maintain a flexible CI/CD pipeline leveraging leading practices and tooling.

　　Automate application deployments with robust rollback strategies.

　　Integrate new CI/CD practices with existing AWS environments.

　　Bridge communication and collaboration between development, QA, and operations teams.

　　Author scripts for automation and testing across development stages.

　　Design and implement monitoring systems for software applications.

　　Containerize Python applications using Docker in a Linux environment.

　　Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and collaborate on resolution.

　　Automate deployments of Python applications and scripts to production environments.

　　Tune and debug platform and deployment issues.

　　Build and manage data pipelines for data movement and transformation on cloud platforms.

　　Partner with project management and software teams to deliver high-quality work within timelines.

　　Propose solutions and improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

　　Write Infrastructure as Code true SDK with Terraform

　　Working knowledge of SQL and Python for deployment tasks and troubleshooting.

　　Experience developing data pipelines on major cloud platforms.

　　Proven experience working on projects via GitHub and Jira.

　　Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

　　Excellent communication, organizational, and task-completion skills.

　　Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

　　Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Redshift) a plus.

　　10+ years of relevant experience required.

　　Master's degree considered a benefit.
