　　Your Mission

　　As a Full Stack Developer for the Middleware-API team, your mission is to build and maintain our automation pipelines specifically for APIs and to implement the tools to support API governance standards. These pipelines are used to deploy and maintain infrastructure and applications both on premises and in the cloud. While CAE already has a significant cloud footprint, your work will allow CAE to go the next level and adopt the cloud very widely.

　　Your Role & Main Responsibilities

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop APIs that meet business requirements.

　　Lead the initiative for developers to create API contracts before writing code, promoting a contract-first approach.

　　Utilize API catalogs and establish best practices for building and managing API contracts.

　　Develop and maintain Middleware solutions to ensure seamless communication between various systems.

　　Conduct testing using tools like Postman, Swagger Hub, and OpenAPI to ensure the reliability and functionality of APIs.

　　Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices

　　Your Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related

　　Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Middleware and APIs.

　　Expertise in designing and developing APIs, promoting a contract-first approach.

　　Strong knowledge of API catalogs and best practices for API contract creation.

　　Familiarity with Middleware solutions and integration patterns.

　　Proficiency in Postman testing, Swagger Hub, and OpenAPI.

　　Proficiency of Regex and JsonPath is a nice to have

　　Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)

　　Good understanding of networking and web protocols
