  Rogers is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist in Brampton, ON, to join the Network Management - Vendor Support team. Reporting in to the Manager - Vendor Support, you will manage our network’s hardware & software support agreements, including renewals, budgets and forecasts.

  As part of the recruitment process, successful candidates will be required to complete criminal and credit background checks.

  What you will do :

  Interface with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Finance keeping a continual pulse on Technology plans, changes, roadmaps etc. to drive more insightful and strategic renewal approaches Work with internal teams to validate contract renewal requirements ensuring production equipment is covered and decommissioned equipment is removed from the agreement

  Validate active equipment inventory with Operations & Engineering, processing quarterly true-ups as required

  Facilitate discussions with Operations, Procurement and Vendors to review contract renewal terms providing suggestions and possible alternatives that align with business and financial needs and objectives.

  Work with downstream teams to prepare renewal documentation summarizing the history and critical renewal details to be presented to senior leadership for final approvals.

  Submit requisitions for approved contracts, and validate invoices for payment.

  Maintain & update documents, including quotes, agreements and inventory in the shared Vendor Information Library Prepare Ad-hoc reports as requested by Operations or Engineering teams.

  What you bring :

  Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field, i.e. Business Administration would be an asset.

  Previous working experience in a Technology, Telecommunications or related field.

  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Contract Management or Finance.

  Previous Vendor Management/Procurement related experience would be an asset

  Critical thinker with exceptional analytical skills.

  Proficient in using Excel with a solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

  Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

  Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication & presentation skills with experience presenting to stakeholders.

  Strong organizational and time-management skills with an aptitude for tracking progress across many initiatives.

  Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

  This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
