We are seeking a mission-focused Sr. Data Analyst and Visualization Engineerto support and contribute to our government customers success inWashington, D.C. or Reston, VA!
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Data collection, normalization, and visualization activities associated with a diverse set of Data; consisting of Network, streaming and UC. performance, cost, service location, system warranty, and incident ticket data.Performing data queries against monitoring systems leveraging a variety of programming languages (C#, SQL, Java, Python, and/or R).Use scripts and tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.Overseeing data ingesting into enterprise data mining solutions, and generates custom visualization and dashboards to answer todays and future business objectives.Performing analysis to assess quality and validity of data.Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction of what next.Develop data models and simulations to answer what next questions.Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and our services.Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data and simulations.Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.Preferred Experience, Education, Skills and Technologies:
Bachelor's degree in statistics or data science7+ years data analysis experienceRequired Experience, Education, Skills and Technologies:
Years of experience with one of the following:
High School/GED plus eleven (11) years of relevant experience
Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience
Master's degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience
PhD plus three (3) year of relevant experience
IAT II, Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin credential
Experience using Splunk ITSI and Tableau data mining solutions.
