　　Stanley Consultants is currently seeking an Advisory Business DevelopmentManager for one of our following offices: Austin TX, Chicago IL, DenverCO, Jackson MI, or Remote.POSITION SUMMARY:The Business Development Manager will win and deliver advisory and developmentengagements in the U.S. with leading investment firms, developers/ IPPs,financial advisors, public power, higher education entities, and IOUs tocreatively solve their problems and assist in their innovation. The successfulcandidate will grow existing client relationships and support theidentification and development of new clients for Stanley Consultants indistributed energy resources, central utility plants or district energyprojects, as well as grid-connected thermal power and renewable energyprojectsThis position offers an opportunity to play an instrumental role in thedirection and strategic growth of an established full-service engineering andconsulting firm, and the expansion of those services across the country.This job is ideal for a self-starter and motivated individual looking fordiversity, unique challenges, and an opportunity to have a direct impacton the development and success of a growing advisory and development servicespractice. This opportunity offers interaction with a variety of clients inmultiple markets.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Our new team member will lead and execute the sales strategy for:Planning services including master planning, portfolio energy analysis,sustainability initiatives, rate analysis, feasibility studies, economictechnology evaluations, and conceptual designs.Development engagements including program management, site selection, landand right of way acquisitions, environmental studies and permitting,preliminary engineering, production modeling, interconnection support,and design and owner's engineer activities.Transactional support services including independent engineer diligence,technical support for mergers and acquisitions/ investment thesis,facility and equipment condition assessments, permit assessments, CapExand OpEx reviews and assessments, contract scope reviews, financial modelassessments, and budget reviews.Compliance services including asset management, condition assessments,environmental compliance, operating permit compliance, code surveys, arcflash studies, hazardous materials inventory, and environmental reporting.The ideal candidate will be:Experienced in assessing and developing financial models/ pro-formas, andother business plan models.Experienced with planning, development, transactional, and complianceservices.Ready to achieve new and add-on business with existing clients by developingand enhancing key client relationships and serving as one of the primarycompany contacts.Eager to provide leadership in the development of client relationships,capture planning, strategy, pursuit and proposal activities.A leader in project scoping and costing and proposal preparation,interviews, and negotiations to the extent required.Able to travel as required.VALUES:It is important the actions of our employees, that we call members,demonstrate our core values.
