Job SummaryThe Sr. Benefits Analyst/Wellness supports Kloeckners overall wellness objectives and initiatives. Programs represent the physical, mental, and financial wellbeing of employees. One of the key features of the role is supporting the new mental wellbeing initiative which is to create an environment where employees feel safe to ask for help and know where to turn for help. The role requires expertise in administering overall wellness programs including a very strong focus on excellent customer service and a desire to advocate for good individual, team, and environmental health.Summary of Essential Job Skills/Functions/ResponsibilitiesAssists with the overall wellness strategy for all components of wellness (mental health, physical, and financial) from year to yearStrong leadership traits with the ability to lead employee associates and provide directionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTakes initiative, is detail oriented, and highly organizedDesigns the Wellness Champion role and help facilitate selection of Champions. Manages the network/community of local Wellness ChampionsPlans and oversees execution of branch onsite biometric screening eventsPartners with 401(k) administrator to plan and implement onsite financial awareness educationPlans and executes corporate challenges as appropriateWorks and manages initiatives with various benefit partners such as the medical, biometric, and employee assistance program partners. Also includes the 401(k) administrator and newly appointed PR firmDrafts content for wellness initiatives throughout the year including monthly benefit newsletters and the Cutting EdgeFacilitates training of the workplace for all levels of employeesAdministers all wellness program incentives including stipends and self-care days offEvaluates utilization and effectiveness of wellness programs and recommends changes as appropriateAssists department members on specific projects and tasks as necessary on key projects. This includes specific projects such as the fall open enrollment and any payroll-related itemsResolves wellness-related employee inquiries and reviews [email protected] mailboxMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etcKnowledge of all pertinent Benefits related federal and state regulations (HIPAA, DOL, IRS, ERISA, Social Security)Preferred Education/ExperienceBachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or Counseling.Five years of related-work experience in Human Resources, Wellness, or Employee Relations.Wellness/HR certifications preferred, but not required.
