This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.
The Senior Associate Director, Patient Data Governance provides deep expertise in the area of patient and consumer identity management, consent/preference management, data warehousing and analytical processing. The role has primary responsibility for defining how master data and transactional data is managed, transformed for analytical use, and ensuring compliant usage of sensitive patient and health data within the BI US HP environments.
Mentors the patient data governance team on best practices; and leads overall day to day operational management of data stewardship, consent/preference, data warehousing and analytics vendors.Responsible for the business design, strategic road map, information management process, solution implementation and delivery of US Human Pharma information assets and enterprise reports. Leads and mentors other members of the A'I Information Management team to optimize the team's understanding of business rules and business processes. Responsible for developing the strategic capability road-map for all US Human Pharma enterprise reporting. Collaborates with key stakeholders to identify business requirements, translate to reporting designs, create implementation plans and deliver analytical data and reports generating advanced and actionable insights that help drive key business decisions. Lead and manage vendors, project teams, and lead day to day operations of the A'I reporting services team to ensure all reports are produced accurately, updated in a timely manner, and enables excellent ease of use to intended users. Will be responsible for managing the SLA for vendors and IS business partners that enable the reporting solutions. Duties & Responsibilities
Identifies business requirements, translate to reporting designs, design solutions, create implementation plans and deliver quality data and reports generating advanced and actionable insights that help drive key business decisions.
Develops strategic reporting roadmap by executing the US HP prioritization process via collaboration with US HP functional leaders that champion data and reporting needs for their organization.
Mentors team members on proprietary business rules and information management processes.
Leads Information Management, Shared Services and IT matrix sub-teams in designing and delivering reporting platforms.
Manages multiple information management and business reporting projects.
Manages people and/or processes to define and deliver solutions and will be a key influencer with US HP management and stakeholders.
Defines and manages vendors and IS business partners that enable the reporting solutions.
Understands content, meaning and usage of BI commercial data, data warehousing concepts, and reporting tools to provide COE consulting services and project management
Provides timely and accurate business integration of syndicated and internal HP commercial data to enable innovative business solutions for Sales, Marketing, Field Based Medicine, Analytics ' Insights and Managed Market functions.
Formulates design, formulas, business rules for information data structures to be used in reporting and analytic platforms.
Provides deep subject matter expertise in patient/consumer identity management and consent preference management; and mentors the resources within the Information Management Patient Data Governance team including employees and outside services.
Provides patient master data expertise and advises leadership team on decisions as needed. Determines changes needed for approval or escalation to the leadership team, provides impact assessment and implementation options. Reviews issues and prioritizes suggested enhancements.
Manages data governance and operations vendors regarding data accuracy, timing, delivery, performance and / or contract issues.
Leads business requirements definition and design of capabilities for patient identity and consent preference management, data warehousing, and analytical processing. Primary liaison w/ the Data Privacy office to understand data privacy needs and ensures overall design for data management, data warehousing, patient analytical deliverables satisfy Privacy requirements.
Oversees the Identity management, consent and preference management, data warehousing and analytical projects including onboarding new brands. Communicates and ensures the implementation of decisions made by leadership. Coordinates changes to the various platforms with IT and the business.
Designs and coordinates periodic data quality audits. Establishes metrics, reviews periodic compliance reports and implement an action plan to resolve issues and improve processes.
Ensures that corporate standards of excellence and compliance are upheld and performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g. EEO, FDA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, SCIP etc.) and Company policies and procedures. Immediately reports noted/observed violations to management.
Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards at all times in order to main BIPI's excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community.
Requirements
Candidate must have 9+ years of related pharmaceutical industry experience with 3+ years of HCP or consumer or patient data experience in pharmaceutical environments.
Masters degree is preferred
Expert in enterprise reporting, data modeling and integration, and vendor integration.
Working knowledge of reporting and visualization platforms (e.g., Cognos, QlikView, Spotfire) a plus.
Deep familiarity with pharmaceutical data, CRM data, formulary data, syndicated IMS data, and data warehousing concepts.
Good understanding of best practices for providing business reporting, analytics, and insights within complex data environments.
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects running simultaneously.
Demonstrated experience in managing people or processes within cross matrix organizations with ability to be a key influencer with management and stakeholders.
Strong ability to work independently.
Strong communications skills.

• Prior data governance experience strongly preferred.
Compensation Data
This position offers a base salary typically between $135,000 and $232,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.
