Job DescriptionSEMCO - Financial Analyst
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Compile and analyze complex financial statements and statistical analysis. Make recommendations and identify potential returns. Provide business partnering support to stakeholders through regular dialogue and meetings. Both challenging and encouraging stakeholders on performance to help the Organization to achieve its financial goals. Create monthly reports and analysis that translate financial results into actionable information for Leadership; create repeatable structure/framework for reporting to provide management visibility. Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Perform financial and budget forecasting of internal accounts. Monitor financial status of business units. Analyze trends, forecasts, and variances and make recommendations as necessary. Maintain professional and technical knowledge in order to uphold responsibilities as subject matter expert. Partner with Leadership to build and maintain long range strategic plan. Ability to identify business challenges and present actionable analysis, and other ad hoc duties as required. Participate in other accounting and treasury projects as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of related work experience. Energy experience helpful.
Proven organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, compile statistics and prepare reports, graphs, tables and charts.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in order to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations.
Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as an effective member of a team.
Good working knowledge of excel and various personal computer business software applications presently used by the Company. Ability to learn new applications as needed.

Able to work in a standard office environment, involves sitting at a desk and operating personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Duties may also involve occasional bending, stooping and lifting of up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
Occasional travel may be required, depending on assignment.
In addition to our standard benefits package, the estimated base salary for this role will range from $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.
