The Senior Analyst, Network Contracting will be responsible forthe financial management of retail, specialty, and mail order pharmacycontracting, issue management, and reporting, in support of the networkstrategy to deliver value to Navitus clients. The primaryresponsibilities of this role are to analyze current and new pharmacycontracts and provide support for all phases of the pharmacy contractingprocess, including national and regional chain providers, pharmacyservices administration organizations (PSAOs) and independent pharmaciesfor all lines of business. The Network Contracting Senior Analyst willanalyze contract alternatives to support Network Contracting retail andspecialty teams and lead analysis of negotiated contracts to maximizereturn and mitigate risks. The Network Contracting Senior Analyst willprovide clear data summaries to explain reimbursement, network needs,and industry trends to support pharmacy and vendor contract negotiationsacross all lines of business and geographies (Commercial, Medicare andmanaged Medicaid). This position will be expected to work crossfunctionally with internal and external partners including clients,vendors, and pharmacy partners to deliver value to Navitus clientsthrough our pharmacy contracts. Support the network contracting managementdivision by preparing contracting and strategy analytics, including newcontracts and contract renewals. Assist with preparation and attendmeetings with strategic pharmacy partners. Plan, design, and deployappropriate reports, tools, and/or applications. Provide support withpharmacy data and topic preparation for industry conferences, includingscheduling. Prepare analyses covering provider agreements, 340Bopportunities, mail order, discount card, specialty, and any relatedneeds.
