About the role:
You’ll be working on the development of new products and product enhancements, delivering multiple different sources of data to our customers. You'll be involved with design, documentation, support and implementation of new microservices as well as maintaining the current services.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing solutions in code that solve pain-points for users
Writing well tested and maintainable code by following best practices and applying software engineering principles
Contributing to the software development life cycle to continuously improve our code and processes.
Working within cross-functional technical teams to map out, refine, understand, and finalize user-stories.
Enhancing your technical skills and keeping up to date with new technology developments.
Requirements
Demonstrate a working knowledge of Java 8 and Spring boot.
Show familiarity with coding best practices such as SOLID and Clean Code
Be comfortable working as part of a multi-discipline agile squad.
Have a working knowledge of software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD and pair programming.
Have great verbal and written communication skills and enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problems.
Be keen to learn new skills and technologies to help develop your knowledge.
