The Position and Job Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties and responsibilities including:
Key to enter data, including but not limited to, Request to Purchase Services, Change/Cancellation Forms, and Authorizations.
Key enters all Board and Care Provider of Care Claims Forms monthly.
Key enters data for CDERs and Early Start CDERs (ESR) into SANDIS.
Update all Day Program authorizations for Non-Standard Months during the annual Rollover Window Period.
Key Enters all POS vendor direct deposit information into UFS.
Distribute data processing products as required.
Provide back up and support for key entering Manual and Void Checks into UFS.
Assist in general department duties as directed, including supporting the work of Accounting staff.
Maintains accounting files and records.
Performs other related duties as required.
Compensation
This position is a non - exempt. Regular Salary: $22.45 - $24.78 per hour.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in accounting from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) or more years of accounting experience, including one year of audit experience.
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, procedures and terminology, accounts payable and accounts receivable systems, general ledger systems, and bank reconciliation. Auditing, training, research and forecasting, data analysis, report preparation and presentation skills. Ability to operate a computer and enter data accurately. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to speak and write in an organized and effective manner, succinct direct manner, and simply complex ideas into simplified forms.
Essential Requirements
Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation, or acceptable substitute, required.
