As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
High attention to detail
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Annual Financial Reporting experience desired
Strong familiarity with Annual Financial Plan
Knowledge of Annual Forecasts
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
