Description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Accountant in Savannah, GA to join our multi-entity company that is in several industries (manufacturing, terminal operations, and industrial land development). As a Sr. Accountant, your responsibilities will include preparing consolidated financial statements in line with GAAP, conducting month-end close processes, ensuring adherence to regulations, and managing intercompany transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP

• Conduct month-end close procedures diligently

• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations

• Handle bank and account reconciliations effectively

• Manage intercompany transactions efficiently

• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities

• Use Excel for various tasks including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and more

• Utilize Dynamics CRM and Great Plains Accounting for financial tasks

• Engage in complex financial analysis and financial statements consolidation

• You will NOT engage in AP, AR, or Payroll tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in the manufacturing/industrial industry

• Expertise in using Excel, including knowledge of Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP functions

• Experience with Month End Close procedures and Intercompany Accounting

• Understanding of Intercompany Eliminations

• Familiarity with Dynamics CRM, Great Plains Accounting, and Great Plains eEnterprise

• Experience with Acumatica software

• Ability to perform Budgeting and Forecasting tasks

• Experience in Complex Financial Analysis

• Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation and Financial Statements Consolidation

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements accurately and efficiently
