Summary: The HumanResource Generalist provides operational, staffing, and developmentsupport for the human resource team. This includes assisting inrecruiting and retention efforts for all plant hourly positions. The HRGeneralist will assist with leading employee training and developmentactivity for all locations, which includes the coordination and deliveryof training as needs are established. This role requires consistent,close contact with all associates within Pace Industries to understandand continuously improve employee relations while striving to make PaceIndustries the employer of choice for our community. Principal Dutiesand Responsibilities: (Including, but not limited to...) Maintainsorganization charts, follow ups with plant leadership on staffing andmaintaining open seats/ positions in the Human Resources InformationSystem (HRIS), Workday. Ensures compliance to approved headcount levelsvia approval from senior leadership. Manages the recruiting portal inthe HRIS by reviewing and responding to all hourly applicants within 24hours of application. This includes reviews of all resumes, conductingphone interviews, and coordinating in person interviews with supervisorystaff. Leads onboarding procedure upon offer acceptance, including drugscreening, I9, badge printing, etc. Ensures Employee Handbook, ITPolices, and Nondisclosure Agreements are communicated to the newemployee. Conducts Orientation training, typically twice a week.Maintains and continuously improves the orientation process, as well asthe onboarding training, which includes information security andenvironmental health and safety. Records of attendance and formsignatures must be continuously maintained. Follow-ups with employeesthroughout their first 2 months of employment to ensure their needs aremet, voices are heard, and concerns are addressed. Manage contract laborpartners, coordinating needs, and updating assignment statuses asnecessary. Assist with personnel record documentation and archiving,correct employee punches daily.
