Description Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - Experience with ERP systems
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Plex experience
Cash reconciliations experience highly desired
Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Month end closings experience preferred
Deep understanding of journal entries
Proven knowledge of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
Well-founded grasp of financial reporting
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Strong attention to detail
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Skilled at time management
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
