About The OpportunityThe Maintenance Lead is responsible forsupporting and coaching the Maintenance Technicians with a focus onserving as a technical resource, implementing preventive/predictivemaintenance (PM/TPM) processes, and leading root cause investigations tohelp drive equipment efficiency. This person is responsible for creatingand promoting an inclusive and innovative team environment. Key DutiesAnd Responsibilities Promotes and ensures team members comply with allappropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.),and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipmentsafety hazards Provides clear instruction, direction and participates inthe execution of routine repair procedures and tasks to ensurecompliance with the fundamental plant reliability strategies, standards,and practices Responsible for determining priority and delegation ofactivities for maintenance & reliability employees Oversees/ Assists indiagnoses of mechanical and electrical problems and determine how tocorrect them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs asnecessary Follow up on completion of assigned daily tasks and/or workorders for department personnel Identify, order, track parts andsupplies needed for equipment repair Acts as an informal resource forcolleagues with less experience Supports operations by identifying andreviewing failures, downtime and lost production and partners with moresenior team members to identify opportunities to improve reliabilityand/or determine acceptable risk tolerance for assets Communicates toproduction and quality assurance about equipment break downs andestimated time needed to complete repairs Ensure that Maintenance Techsare providing proper and timely input for parts and work ordercompletion.
