Description
Lead the supplier warranty management team in the execution of warranty recovery process, support the creation of supplier warranty agreements and implement a new warranty management system. In this role you will work closely with the product groups and procurement organizations as the role is responsible for the creating fact packs to support recovery of warranty.
Delivers business solutions that are globally effective and applicable to support the execution of the procurement vision and strategy.
Job Duties
Manage a team accountable for the creation of continuous product improvement fact packs to aid supplier warranty recovery.
The role interacts with Product Managers, Category Managers and Buyers which requires effective relationship building and communications skills
Champion the goal to increase the percentage of total warranty recovery.
Lead and champion the introduction of supplier warranty agreements.
Build close working relationships across the product and procurement teams to ensure the development and execution of strategies that generate positive warranty recovery.
Monitor and execute the warranty recovery process, ensuring timely completion in line with the financial reporting cycle.
Develop annual warranty targets and product group allocations to support the high-level recovery targets.
Implement a new supplier warranty management system.

• Collects required data through various data sources and documents them for evaluating trends and activities.
• Assists in preparing charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to represent the results obtained from data analysis.
• Researches business-related data, analyzes, interprets, and presents findings to management.
• Recognizes and assesses problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business performance.
• Utilizes designated data analysis software to analyze the data.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.

• Summarizes the mission, vision and objectives of the procurement function.
• Follows procurement regulations and contract specifications to perform tasks.
• Participates in meetings regarding relevant regulatory considerations and agencies of the procurement function.
• Implements regular procurement programs, initiatives and issues.
• Documents the steps and requirements of the procurement process.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of Job-related work experience in a transactional process related role or business improvement role
Top Candidates will also have
Master’s degree or MBA
6 Sigma Experience

The location for this position is Peoria, IL
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position may require up to 10% travel.
