　　Senior Accountant

　　Our client in the Chester County, PA area is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract role. As the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the financial reporting needs of the organization, including financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, by ensuring the underlying financial records are accurate and complete. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Accounting and General Accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and ensuring compliance.

　　Responsibilities of Senior Accountant

　　Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

　　Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

　　Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

　　Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management.

　　Requirements

　　Skills/Qualifications of Senior Accountant

　　Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

　　5+ years’ proven experience as a Senior Accountant with expertise in Corporate Accounting and General Accounting.

　　CPA certification is highly desirable.

　　Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

　　Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks).

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

　　Ability to go onsite up to three days
