Seeking an Junior Analyst in the Securities Class Actions Services(SCAS) Operations team. SCAS offers institutional investors a completelyoutsourced, turnkey solution for securities class action research,filing and notification. SCAS has the industry\'s most comprehensivedatabase on securities class action litigation, covering 18 years ofdetailed historical class action data, automated claims notification,monitoring, and filing, and unsurpassed client service. SCAS has beenfiling securities class action claims on behalf of its clients since2003. Its team of research and filing professionals has developed closerelationships with the SEC and other regulators, custodians, claimsadministrators and trade groups to address issues affecting our clientsand to ensure efficient, accurate and complete filing.
We are currently seeking an Analyst in the Securities Class ActionsServices (SCAS) to join our Norman, OK office.
\THE ROLE:
Document and submit claims for Securities Class Action Servicefiling clients. Organize daily workload to ensure that requiredfiling deadlines are met.Maintain data to ensure quality of mission critical informationusing both proprietary applications and commonly used businesssoftware applicationsEnsure comprehensive audit trails for claims filings and deficiencyresolutionMonitor key performance indicators to ensure the integrity ofassigned data management areasWork with clients prior to and during the claims filing process toanswer client questions related to cases and upcoming claimsCreate client specific monthly reports of claims filing activity,upcoming claims, and disbursement information. Apply client specificcustomizations to reports as neededPerform account maintenance for clientsWork with clients and custodian banks to procure the necessarydocumentation to successfully complete filings and resolvedeficienciesWork with client implementation teams to ensure that required clientdata is received in a timely and high quality mannerBuild and enhance relationships with various groups in the industry(claims administrators, law firms, and custodians) to improveefficiency and improve the products and services offered to clientsDevelop efficient processes to improve claims filing and recognizedloss calculationsParticipate and lead custom projectsWork with development teams to enhance and test new products andback office system applicationsREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent)
Familiarity with common office software applications (Excel, Word,PowerPoint)
Information technology skills (SQL, VB, programming, etc.) a plus
Experience/interest in finance or law a plus
Excellent oral and written communications
Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
Team player and an excellent relationship builder
Self motivated and driven
Demonstrated analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated Project Management skills defining of scope, resources andtime lines, and managing to deliverables
