As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

　　Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests

　　Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

　　Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

　　Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

　　Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments

　　Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations

　　Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

　　Ad-hoc projects as required Requirements - Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Ability to meet deadlines

　　Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

　　Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Background working with bank reconciliations

　　Solid understanding of journal entries

　　Practical knowledge of Audit Prep

　　Good understanding of Microsoft Excel

　　General ledger experience

　　Earlier work involving Sage Software

　　Demonstrated knowledge of Property Tax Returns

　　Proficiency in accruals

　　Experience with Ledger Reconciliations

　　Fixed assets experience highly preferred

　　General familiarity with SOX

　　Adeptness in variance analysis

　　Knowledge of accruals

　　BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired

　　Must be proficient and able to complete various financial reporting tasks

　　Knowledgeable of ERP systems

　　5+ years of overall general accounting experience

　　Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

　　Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

　　Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
