  Description

  Excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant who is looking for an organization that provides work/life balance, help companies and a career path full of growth opportunities! A Senior Accountant is needed for a career-building opportunity with the Robert Half Full-Time Contract Talent practice group. Our Full-Time Professionals tackle challenging, long term and highly visible client directed projects in the Columbus market that can vastly advance your career. Overall projects will vary but will be in the accounting and finance field.

  Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  Review G/L accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries

  Maintain general ledger chart of accounts

  Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals

  Perform account analysis

  Reconciliations; bank and inter-company general ledger accounts

  Month-end, quarter-end and year-end close

  Prepare financial statements and trial balance

  Full process A/P, A/R and Payroll

  Requirements:

  BS/BA Accounting

  5+ years of relevant experience; month-end close, general ledger, journal entries, etc.

  Advanced Microsoft Excel; Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros

  Advanced ERP experience in SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft or Great Plains

  Highly motivated, self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

  Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
