In your role, you will
Adhere to General Work Requirements
Pull parts from stock and reconcile part numbers to shipping document(s)
Reconcile accompanying documents with actual parts and materials received into stockroom, tool crib, and expediting areas
Route parts to stock room or other departments upon receipt from inspection
Stock parts, tools, supplies, and rotobins in appropriate area(s) or program for later distribution
Track and maintain accurate parts, tools, and supply inventory transactions using multiple computerized databases, manual filing systems, and reports
Perform cycle count, perpetual, and work-in-progress inventory audits
Determine priority items to ensure timely routing
Locate, prepare, and transport equipment, personal tools, materials, inventory supplies, and/or engineering documents to appropriate location and/or local vendor
Operate push carts and powered vehicles, for example, forklift, sidewinder, truck/van, and electric cart
Coordinate with other departmental representatives to request parts necessary for component assembly and to communicate part status as required
Coordinate with other departmental representatives to resolve process problems related to obtaining parts, components, assemblies, tools, and/or equipment
Secure required materials as soon as they become available and expedite to the proper location for work or further handling
Maintain proper maintenance of powered vehicles
Issue parts, tools, dies, supplies, and/or equipment to authorized personnel
Salvage materials, tools, and ground support equipment for recertification and resharpening
Reorder materials, tools, specialty tools, and/or inventory supplies with regards to aircraft delivery schedules and/or maintenance
Prepare all kits to support installations on flight test aircraft
Assign and affix bar code to tools
As our ideal candidate
You have a valid Class C drivers license
You typically have 1-3 years of inventory, data entry, and/or expediting experience
You have basic knowledge of aircraft tools, equipment, and related materials and shop processes
You have interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments
You have the ability to write clearly and legibly
You must be available to work 2nd shift
You have experience reconciling invoices and closing out internal work orders
You have experience with shipping export control
You have experience using SAP (asset)
