Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) seeks a Senior Plannerwith a focus on housing and community development. The selectedcandidate will be a key member of the Community Planning Program andwill lead efforts to implement regional strategies in housing, work withcommunities on policy and regulatory changes, write grants, and overseeCommunity Development Block Grant (CDBG) administration. Minimumrequirements include a Master\'s degree in planning or a related fieldwith two years of experience or a Bachelor\'s degree with coursework inplanning-related subjects and four years of full-time planningexperience. Experience related to housing planning and CDBGadministration is preferred. BRPC welcomes candidates from a broad rangeof personal and professional backgrounds and will consider reasonablyrelated work, education, and life experience during candidateevaluation. BRPC seeks a proactive problem-solver committed to planningwith a high-level skill set including analytics, writing, and effectivecommunication. The ability to collaborate with a diverse range ofindividuals is key, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus. Thisis a full-time hybrid position with a 35-hour work week (including flextime options) and a 2-day in-office minimum. The starting salary rangefor this position is \$61,697 to \$71,805 and includes a very attractivebenefits package.
