Job Description

Manage Career Development Process - attend meetings; prepare documents, reports and ad hoc requests as necessary.
Prepares required career and succession planning documents for executive briefings, special requests and corporate projects.
Support the implementation of the career development strategy and regularly assess the results of development programs
Assist employees in developing and preparing their individuals development plan.
Maintain confidentiality of Career Development process and documents
Perform other related assignments and tasks as required.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or other quantitative field of study (or a related field) preferred.
Master's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or other quantitative field of study (or a related field) preferred.
Relevant Work Experience
Two or more years of relevant employment experience in HR
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail required
Demonstrated high-energy level, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments while working under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated professional demeanor and confidence dealing with all levels of management and union personnel required.
Ability to be discreet and to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise discretion in handling internal and external contacts with tact and sensitivity.
Excellent hands-on experience and proficiency Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, etc., and mainframe applications).
Functional knowledge of HR Systems and informational technology.
Experience in the Human Resources domain a strong plus.
Familiar with Career Development programs and practices a plus.

Driver's License RequiredOther Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
