Job Description Solutions Analyst Position location is flexible and may office from any branch in the USA Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Solutions Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with our Fastenal Automated Supply Technology (FAST) Solutions programs. You will monitor, measure, research, and report information related to various FAST Solutions projects and performance. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Gathering and analyzing data used to compile into reports to support and make business decisions o Reporting on various projects through planning and implementation phases, which includes regular project progress update to all stakeholders o Determining and documenting business process requirements for all projects and initiatives o Collaborating with IT to provide business directives in the development of FAST Solutions applications o Developing and maintaining technical documentation to support the FAST Solutions program REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing or a related field of study OR 1 year of relevant work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
