  NBC Universal is continuing its cloud solutions strategy execution for Talent Management processes. As part of this effort learning, performance management, compensation, recruitment and onboarding processes require application implementation and maintenance support (based on Saas/Cloud Applications). This position will play a critical role for various planned/in-flight implementations as well as post go-live support; exposure and engagement for the full process scope is expected.

  This position requires a solid HR/Talent process understanding as well as the ability to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions; key systems knowledge include SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.

  Responsibilities

  Lead and contribute to several HR Talent Management solutions for planned/in-flight projects.

  Take on IT-specific system responsibilities including hands-on application development, configuration and coordination of activities with other IT teams (incl. automation, reporting, security, application access, etc.)

  Ability to take on day-to-day support activities for already implemented Talent Management processes and systems (vendor release adoption, IT governance tasks, smaller enhancements, etc.)

  Conduct system setup and preparation of annual process cycles (compensation, performance management, etc.), support and troubleshoot issues reported by end users or business partners during preparation and in-cycle activities.

  Ability to navigate SAP HCM OM/PA modules for Talent Management specific data, understand and formulate RICEF specifications.

  Continuously review and optimize existing SAP HCM or SuccessFactors integrations with other 3rd party talent applications. Provide support for our extended application portfolio of 3rd party recruitment, surveys, and employee services systems.

  Collaborate cross-functionally with numerous NBCUniversal teams to create holistic solutions.

  Project, time and task management are foundational skills needed for this role.

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems or equivalent.

  All activities require a solid foundational knowledge of stated HR Talent Management processes.

  The ability to work with business users to gather requirements and translate into high quality solutions.

  Ability to work with IT peers to create holistic solutions

  7+ years designing and building HR IT solutions and related project/support work. Experience with core HR systems (preferred SAP HCM) and employee life cycle management (hire-to-retire).

  3+ years experience implementing and supporting cloud based/SaaS HR solutions, minimum of 1-2 completed implementations (preferred SuccessFactors).

  3+ years experience supporting Talent Management Applications including all relevant configuration, security, reporting, integration and configuration aspects (preferred SuccessFactors)

  Must have hands-on but also advisory/consulting skills to collaborate with other teams when building solutions.

  Preferred experience with ATS integrations (PageUp)

  Desired Characteristics:

  Proficient in creating high quality solution documentation (i.e., functional specifications, configuration rationale, etc.).

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; role will be client facing.

  Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
