　　Responsibilities

　　Located in Phoenix, AZ this position is critical to the success of St. Josephs Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

　　Follows procedures and performs clinical testing in one or more departments of the laboratory within regulatory guidelines. Performs routine as well as specialized laboratory testing procedures following written technical policies and procedures.

　　Qualifications

　　Requirements:

　　Six months prior clinical laboratory experience.

　　Associate's Degree in a chemical or biological science, or completion of a medical laboratory technician program from an accredited institution.

　　Preferred:

　　Preferred: Medical Laboratory Technician certification (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or equivalent as defined within Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)

　　$26.51 - $38.44 /hour
