　　Title: SolidWorks Drafter

　　Department: 580

　　Reports To: Engineering Manager

　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　SolidWorks drafter will create 3D models and 2D drawings of tooling and related products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

　　Use SolidWorks to create solid models, assemblies, and detail drawings.

　　Collaborate with engineering and production to develop drawings.

　　Create models and assemblies from handwritten sketches and verbal instructions.

　　Must be able to take old drawings and convert them into SolidWorks.

　　Motivated individual to keep up with fast paced environment.

　　Needs organization to prioritize multiple assignments.

　　Assist department supervisors with production issues, tooling, and problem solving.

　　Must be able and willing to conform to company specific procedures quickly.

　　Other duties as required.

　　KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

　　Proficiency in SolidWorks software and 3D modeling techniques.

　　Good understanding of machining principles.

　　Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
