The TechnicianLaboratory calibrates lab instruments and inputs data per record of results.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms tests to ensure product and package quality of finished beverage products are within company quality specifications and regulatory requirementsMaintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracyMaintains testing and calibration records and results through data entry into the Lab Data Management System (LDMS)Performs water treatment quality tests following company quality specifications and regulatory requirementsCreates quality holds on finished beverage products for containment and investigation when quality tests do not meet specificationsKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating proceduresUnderstanding of a laboratory environment and laboratory practices preferredBasic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniquesBasic computer skills including Microsoft Excel experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs unless specified otherwise by a CBAAbility to stand for extended periods of time, walk manufacturing floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25lbs.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experiencePreferred QualificationsN/AWork EnvironmentNoisy, wet, and extreme temperature environmentCoca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
