  Job Description

  We are looking for a detail oriented, ambitious self-starter to join the SuiteSuccess Quality Assurance team as a QA Analyst. This person will use their software testing process knowledge and NetSuite configuration experience to execute comprehensive test cycles on both new product builds and enhancements to existing functionality.

  In addition, they will create full test cases and ancillary QA documentation, as well as interface heavily with other teams in order to ensure the highest quality SuiteSuccess solutions are brought to market. They should have a strong understanding of core NetSuite processes and functional implementation capabilities using the full range of NetSuite’s native configuration tools, to include but not limited to - Dashboard Configuration, Saved Search and Report customization, SuiteFlow configurations and SuiteBundler with SuiteScript capabilities a plus.

  Strong written communication skills, exceptional logic and problem solving skills, and attention to detail are key requirements as this role necessitates clear, concise communication of defects from their origin to resolution. On top of these regular testing responsibilities, this role offers the opportunity to help create and maintain testing automation tools and best in class QA processes as we optimize the team structure.

  Members of our Quality Assurance Team will work with a variety of other teams to identify and resolve any defects that arise in our testing cycles and to ensure that nothing is missed during our QA process as the scope and depth of testing expands.

  Responsibilities

  Responsibilities:

  Execute testing and quality assurance in line with SuiteSuccess standards defined by the SuiteSuccess Architecture Team.

  Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results to ensure that system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria.

  Draft comprehensive test cases based on insight gathered from subject matter experts and build resources involved in the specific product being tested.

  Actively manage and communicate the status of QA cycles to ensure accurate resource planning and release deadlines are met.

  Diagnose severity & origin of defects in QA environments with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  Contribute to the planning, build and implementation of sophisticated test automation tools as the SuiteSuccess QA Team processes continue to improve.

  Create and maintain documentation associated with Quality Assurance cycles, processes and tools.

  Skills and Expertise:

  Bachelors’ degree preferably in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent

  2+ years experience of NetSuite functional or technical consulting with a strong and demonstrable product understanding including process flows, dashboard configuration and publishing, saved searches with formulas, comfort in SuiteFlow & SuiteBundler with SuiteScript knowledge a plus.

  Prefer 2 years of software engineering or related experience in testing web-based applications or client-server software (financial and accounting type of software)

  Good testing and defect-finding skills and understanding of QA methodologies.

  Knowledge in any Bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
