　　A day in the life

　　As a Software Engineer on the eero for communities team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with Design, Product, Legal, Security, and cross-functional Engineering teams to enhance our B2B and B2C customer experience, integrate with partners across domains, and scale our industry presence. From building reusable UI components, to integrate with cloud API, you will evolve our mobile offerings to handle continuous requests from around the world. eero’s iOS app is essential to connecting technicians to their customers’ networks, giving them control to manage, troubleshoot, and analyze the fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating new frameworks and tools, mentoring fellow engineers, improving our build process, and shaping eero’s future roadmap.

　　About the team

　　We are scaling the eero for communities team and are looking for a motivated, experienced, and product-focused iOS engineer to help us build word-class software that is scalable, highly available, maintainable, and secure. We work on products that define how our B2B Partners interact with member data across systems on mobile and web. We power their experience from account setup, login, and co-branding to transfer flow, customer management, and much more! We also own the entire lifecycle of a member state — including acquisition, payment integration, plans and pricing, membership history, and billing for eero customers around the world. We are a full stack team with specialized developers in mobile, web, and cloud engineering working on key features built around the user experience.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

　　2+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Swift/Objective-C/C++ with iOS SDK and other frameworks.

　　Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

　　Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, software design, algorithms, maintainability, and distributed systems.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

　　Proficiency with RESTful or gRPC API design and implementation.

　　Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

　　Ability to drive technical architecture discussions and help inform decisions.

　　Experience writing technical specifications and documentation.
