The Program: At Medidata, interns will have the opportunity to accelerate their careers by working closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. Our Summer Internship program also includes instructor led training, guided mentorship, exposure to senior leadership and community service. In addition to individual and specific related responsibilities, each intern will participate in our Intern Innovation Lab. Assigned to cross-functional teams, interns will work closely to develop an innovative solution to a business problem currently facing Medidata. As they work diligently to present their final solutions to a panel of top Medidata leaders, we are confident that our interns will make a significant impact on our business.

　　The Position:

　　As a Rave Platform Engineering Team Member, you'd be part of a collaborative team that develops software and provides technical and diagnostic support to delight our customers. Responsibilities may include:

　　Apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, source code control and review Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for software applications Refactor code to reduce technical debt Keep up to date with the software development and testing industries Follow Medidata's Standard Operating Procedures to ensure all software meets regulatory and company requirements Work with Agile team members, particularly Software Quality Assurance and Product Management, to write clear, concise and comprehensive feature files Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives.

　　Your Competencies:

　　Experience programming in .NET, C#, SQL Server, etc. Experience or familiarity with Source Code Control Strong time management and problem solving skills Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize activities to achieve resultsRequirements:

　　Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

　　Preferably in Senior year

　　Minimum GPA 3.0

　　Project Description: Rave EDC & Classic bug fixes and Enhancements

　　Intern will work in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.

　　Focus areas will be Bug Fixes and Small Enhancements for Rave EDC and

　　Classic.

　　Responsibilities include coordinating with Rave Engineering , SQA, Product and Project Management team.

　　* What specific experience or skills will be gained, and what can they include into their portfolio after the internship is over?

　　The project will give an opportunity to get live experience working on the largest flagship product and understanding the best software practices. Intern should be able to apply the coding skills in .Net,C#,SQL programming skills

　　The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $32.00 to $37.00 per hour with a $3,500 sign on bonus.
