What You’ll Do

In this role you will be working with the Core Database team to develop SQL features to support Open Table Format running on our high-performance, highly scalable, highly available and elastic architecture in the Cloud. Successful candidate would participate in the design, coding and testing and maintenance of these features. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the procedures and technologies to enhance the Teradata SQL Engine. You will be well versed in working in and contributing to a fully agile and automated deployment and testing process.

The main building block of Teradata multi-cloud data platform is its SQL Engine. And the heart of Teradata SQL Engine is its best-in-class database group. The successful candidate will join a team of software developers and test engineers. You will be part of an experienced engineering team building a leading multi-cloud data platform.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge should include computer programming, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture and organization, database.

Knowledge of programming skills include C/C++, Java, Linux shell scripts, Linux command line, Linux working knowledge, GitHub, and software IDEs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Jenkins to build, test, and deploy software.

Pay Rate: 101600.0000 - 127,000.00 - 152500.0000 Annually

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
