Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Professional with a background in medical records and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) implementation for our Employee Health Department. The primary role of this position is to accurately convert all physical health records into digital formats and efficiently upload these into our system.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the conversion of physical health records into digital files.

Accurately upload the digital data to our department's ReadySet system.

Ensure that all digital records accurately reflect their physical counterparts.

Assist with maintenance and management of EMR systems.

Work collaboratively with the health department team to ensure data integrity during conversion.

Follow set procedures regarding the compilation, storage, and retrieval of medical records.

Perform regular audits to ensure health records are accurately reflected and updated in the system.

Resolve any issues arising during the records conversion process promptly.

Maintain patient confidentiality following the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical records management, particularly in records conversion.

Familiarity with different EMR systems

Strong administrative skills, including meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

Proficient with data entry and digital systems.

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare compliance regulations.

Excellent time-management skills and able to meet tight deadlines.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
