General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer for our Edgewise platform, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate cloud edge software and applications that help the world’s tier-1 cellular network operators with network automation and optimization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer for our Edgewise platform, you will:

Work with a group of talented engineers providing innovative solutions to Cellular Networks problems.

Design and implement complex algorithms.

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems.

Preferred Qualifications and Technical Experience - What you will bring:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Strong experience in designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures using Java.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Experience working with micro-services architecture.

Experience working with big data applications using advanced SQL capabilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to have:

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience working with Vertica or other column-oriented databases.

Experience building optimizations and analytics modules
