　　Key job responsibilities

　　Lead projects and collaborate across Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to build new and innovative application experiences.

　　Shape our product vision and build exciting business and customer facing features.

　　Enhance and optimize existing software components to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility.

　　Define, design, and develop the tactical direction of our server side and middle-ware services.

　　Provide mentorship to other engineers and help change development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability.

　　As a Software Engineer on the eero team, you will have an opportunity to collaborate with Design, Product, Legal, Security, and cross-functional Engineering teams to enhance our retail hardware and software offerings.

　　About the team

　　We are scaling the eero team and are looking for a motivated, experienced, and product-focused cloud engineer to help us build word-class software that is scalable, highly available, maintainable, and secure. We work on products that define how our customers interact with their eero networks and hardware. We power their experience from login, network setup to device management and much more! We are a full stack team with specialized developers in mobile, web, and cloud engineering working on key features built around the user experience.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

　　2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　Experience programming with at least one software programming language

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
