Job Description

　　Oracle is a fast-growing, diverse workplace with great benefits and compensation. We are looking for a self-starter and team player to join our Platform engineer team. The successful candidate will have the opportunities to work with team focused on improving our product performance through process changes, providing guidelines for better product development, and enforcing stricter performance validations. This position requires a solid understanding of architecture and design of large scale and complex product.

　　Responsibilities

　　Drive various performance improvement initiatives across organization to improve product performance.

　　Identify the gaps related to product performance in SDLC process and tools and come up with preventive guidelines and get them implemented.

　　Strive to improve the quality of the release and reduce performance defects in a continuous manner.

　　Identify the anti-patterns with code changes and come up with preventive measures.

　　Work with testing and make improvements to regression suites for identify performance breakages.

　　Improve coverage of scale and performance testing so that any major performance issues are caught before release ships.

　　Make performance validation a self-service and facilitate performance scenarios to be quickly validated.

　　Skill sets

　　In-depth architectural and design expertise of developing large scale products with complex architecture.

　　Solid experience of improving product performance through architecture, design and process changes

　　Experience in driving cross org initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and initiatives.

　　Experience with observability tools, defining product metrics, understanding product consumption scenarios, client SLA/SLOs are must.

　　Expertise with three tier architecture in fine tuning services, queuing, database schemas and queries is must.

　　Experience with Microsoft technologies like C++ and C#, Databases like Oracle and SQL is must.

　　Exposure to Cloud services and Healthcare domain is added advantage.
