　　Responsibilities

　　We are seeking a mission-focused Software Developerto support and contribute to our government customer’s success in San Diego, California!

　　ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

　　As a Software Developer, you will perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Designs and develops software applications.

　　Qualifications

　　Required E xperience, Education, Skills & Technologies

　　An active TS/SCI security clearance, preferably with CI polygraph

　　Two (2) years of experience in software engineering or development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)

　　Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a technical discipline

　　Coding experience using languages such as: Python, Java, Ruby, Clojure, JavaScript, etc.

　　Understand the Software development life cycle

　　Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to problems

　　Demonstrated experience using rapid prototyping and Agile based software development methodologies

　　Effective communication skills

　　Preferred Experience, Education, Skills & Technologies

　　Understanding of machine learning concepts and/or computer vision

　　Experience with development in microservice based architectures

　　Experience with cloud environments such as AWS

　　SAFe Agilist certification

　　Experience working with geospatial intelligence and similar data sets

　　Security Clearance Level

　　TS/SCI with an adjudicated CI polygraph or ability to obtain a CI polygraph

　　Full-time on-site at a designated facility

　　Pay Rate

　　The projected compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $165,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Criterion Systems considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
