Peraton has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced IT OperationsService Owner Lead to provide technical leadership, contractor management,direction, administration, and leadership of the execution of his/herrespective site's requirements for the Special Operations Forces InformationTechnology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations andMaintenance (EOM) in support of United States (U.S.) SpecialOperations Command (USSOCOM). The IT Operations Service Owner Lead will beresponsible for assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoingSITEC 3 EOM technical efforts, coordinating with the USSOCOM TPOC, andmanaging the overall site service delivery performance of their assignedcommanThe IT Operations Service Owner Lead must be self-motivated and will berequired to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to communicateclearly, both written and orally. The IT Operations Service Owner Lead musthave good management and communication skills to interact and coordinateeffectively with both internal and external executive leadership teams.The IT Operations Service Owner Lead is responsible for the efficiency ofSystem and Network Infrastructure Services, End-User and Common DeviceServices, and Service Management, including managing technical issues andbusiness processes on site; managing and responding to Government issues,concerns, and comments; and alerting the Government proactively topotential contractual or programmatic and resource limitation issues. The ITOperations Service Owner Lead will be the main interface at their assignedsite between the USSOCOM end customers, the applicable SITEC3 EOM DeputyProgram Manager, and the supported Component or TSOC J6/G6 managementstaff while providing input into the management activities within his/herfunctional area. The IT Operations Service Owner Lead will manage Contractorand subcontractor staff on site, ensure staff development for retention,and work with third-party vendors applicable to his/her site as needed. TheIT Operations Service Owner Lead may manage teams of contract support atmultiple locations as necessary. The IT Operations Service Owner Lead isrequired to organize, direct, and manage all support functions applicableto SITEC 3 EOM Service Delivery for multiple, complex, and inter-relatedproject tasks within the scope of their assigned site(s). Must be able toreview task plans and deliverable items, and manage schedules in line withbudget. The IT Operations Service Owner Lead will ensure all personnel withinhis/her responsibility receive adequate guidance and direction forperforming their daily tasks and will be responsible fordeveloping/presenting briefings, preparing correspondence, andsubmitting proje
Typical Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Management, leadership, development, and retention of the infrastructureand operations technology team, including training initiatives,mentoring, and performance coaching.Supporting the Component or TSOC Deputy Program Manager as assigned withsupplying various reporting of issues and managing day to day activities withdirect contact, as well as other senior program staff as appropriate.Customer success and relationship management interfacing with Component andTSOC leadership and the USSOCOM TPOC for effective resolution of site-relatedissues.Attending high visibility conference room discussions and relating technicalmatters to Pe aton and USSOCOM leaders in a fast-paced environment.Provide periodic performance assessments of site support to leadership andgovernment staff; and participate in / provide subject matter expertise invendor relationship management meetings as required.Build successful stakeholder relationships with other service and operationalleaders by developing a clear understanding of service needs, acting as atrusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meetthose needs.Devise, establish, and improve site-specific IT processes, policies,and systems to enable and accelerate the implementation of strategies set byleadership. Make recommendations to improve enterprise service delivery andmanagement processes as appropriate.Lead site infrastructure project reviews with both project leaders andstakeholders.Track and support site project leaders with resolution of major projectroadblocks as required.A level of knowledge with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI) combinedwith Hybrid Cloud solutions is required. Working with other platformowners/peers collaboratively in this space, troubleshooting and innovatingwith subordinates managing HCI directly.This position is contingent upon contract award#SITEC2023
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:BS 16, MS 14. At least 6 years in a management capacity.
