　　Job Description:

　　The City of Naperville seeks a highly motivated individual to fill theposition of Senior GIS Analyst in the Information Technology Departmentto join a cross-functional technical team supporting the CitysEnterprise GIS and Database platform. The Senior GIS Analyst willperform a wide variety of routine to complex technical duties includingthe design, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance andsupport for the Citys Enterprise GIS.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assists in the design, development, maintenance and implementation ofthe organizations GIS applications in an Enterprise GIS environment

　　Determines and evaluates user needs, designs data models, performs dataanalysis, and coordinates interactions with existing data; establishesspatial data standardization and development and review of metadatastandards

　　Provides support and administration of data maintenance activities,workflow processes and related applications; develops scripts tostreamline work processes and automate user interfaces.

　　Serves as technical resource to city departments, including providingassistance and training in the use of GIS data and systems,recommending, troubleshooting, and providing support for GIS software,databases, and other related applications.

　　Consults with city departments regarding departmental GIS needs andrequirements, including identifying, designing, and developing GISapplications

　　Provides support for various Geographic Information Systems (GIS) andTechnology projects using project management methodologies; assists inproject planning, data analysis and development of project documents

　　Develops and maintains web map applications that enable internal andexternal customers; writes scripts that copy and transform data from oneor more sources into a destination system

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor\'s Degree in GIS/Geography, Planning, Engineering, ComputerScience, or a related field.

　　5-7 years of professional level experience working within an ArcGISEnterprise environment

　　Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online platforms includingcoding/programming experience using Python

　　Proficiency with the ESRI suite of applications such as ArcGISEnterprise, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Desktop,Experience Builder, ArcGIS Dashboards and ArcGIS Solutions

　　Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design,gathering business requirements, project management, and the ability todesign technical/functional requirements.

　　Possess a collaborative ethic for working with teammates to solveproblems and experience troubleshooting end-user issues in an enterpriseenvironment
